This vehicle leveling system is also great for site work.
GPS TASKER DRIVERS
The LevelMatePRO wireless vehicle leveling system is quite intuitive, enabling drivers to pick ground spots with leveled features, most suitable for their cars to be parked. This system connects wirelessly to any smart mobile device and uses the medium to communicate the necessary information.
GPS TASKER DRIVER
This vehicle leveling system actively gathers the required information and uses it to properly help the driver know where adjustments on height are to be made. I want a macro to send that says "what are you wearing?" to send home.LevelMatePRO is a leveling system, which was engineered to accurately inform a driver of the leveling features of his/her vehicle. Still, like Spot check-ins, with your last known "all is ok" message/map location and time, it would at least give someone a last known point to start some inquiries from. I guess if you slid off a cliff and were no longer mobile/bike down, leg broken and needed it to work (and couldn't get a signal), then all bets may indeed be off. Even if it sent a few minutes or a half hour or a couple miles down the road, it would still be effectively "useful". My point is, if your just sending a Spot-like message of "hello, I am still upright and enjoying myself, I am _ (here), see map, talk again later". I too, sometimes wander in and out of cell range-īut on most smart phones- if you generate a text or e-mail and it can't get out at the time you hit send, typically when you slip into an area of service again, sometimes just hitting a gap in some trees, etc, many times it's enough of a gap to shoot the message or e-mail though, but would not be steady enough to make or hold a phone conversation. It should look like this:īack out again to make it active and you should be all set!
GPS TASKER BLUETOOTH
Long press on Received Text and press "Add." Choose "State," then "Net," then "BT Connected." Press the magnifying glass by "name" and select for bluetooth device. Tap the profile you created to expand it if it isn't already expanded. If you want this profile to only work when connected to your bluetooth headset, launch the app again and go back to the profiles tab. The new profile will not be active until you have backed all the way out. Press the back button a few times to exit out of the app and make sure it closes. You can set this to your SO's number only if you wish. This variable contains the phone number of the last number that texted you. We have to multiply it by a scaler to make it read in miles per hour. %LOCSPD is the built-in variable that contains your speed reported in meters per second. "Variable Set" can be found under Variables. I use all the defaults here except that I changed the timeout to 10 seconds instead of 100 seconds. "Get Location" can be found under Location. Under "Text," type what you want it to say, like, "Location requested." Everything else can be left as default.

I like my phone to tell me (over bluetooth) that my location is being requested. You can skip the first one if you are not having your text messages read out loud (I'll post about that new). You'll need to create the actions listed below. On the new screen, press the + button to create a new action. When it asks you for a name, call it something like "Send Location" and then press the check mark. It will pop up a new menu asking you to select a task or create a new one. "Location" is the keyword that will trigger this profile. You can leave Sender blank and this will work for anyone, or you can fill in your SO's phone number. In the menu that pops up, select Event, then Phone, then Received Text. You'll need to press the + button in the lower right corner. Fyi, Tasker is a paid app but I am not the developer nor do I benefit in any way from you purchasing it.įirst, start the app.

GPS TASKER FREE
I'm posting the profile I use for this here, but feel free to discuss any other ideas you may have. I like having the speed included just so that she knows I'm actually riding and not laying on the side of the road, although that isn't fool-proof. Some of us have SO's that worry about us everytime we go for a ride, so giving your spouse a way to get your location and speed upon request can help them while you are riding. It can be as simple or complex as you can imagine.
GPS TASKER FOR ANDROID
Tasker is an app for Android that lets you automate just about anything on your phone and can do some really cool things. I've been getting some interest in using Tasker, so I decided to make a separate thread to discuss some of its uses while riding.
